According to the meteorology statement, light to moderate thunderstorms accompanied by active winds that will raise dust and sand are expected in parts of the Jazan, Asir, Al-Baha, Makkah, Madinah, Tabuk, Al-Jawf, Northern Borders, Hail, Qassim, Riyadh, and the northern parts of the Eastern.

Red Sea

• Surface winds: Northerly to northwesterly at a speed of 15-40 km/h on the northern and central parts and southerly to southeasterly at a speed of 15-35 km/h on the southern part, reaching speeds of more than 50 km/h towards the Bab al-Mandab Strait, as well as the formation of rain-bearing thunderclouds on the northern part.
• Wave height: from half a meter to one and a half meters, reaching more than two meters towards the Bab al-Mandab Strait, as well as with the formation of rain-bearing thunderclouds over the northern part.
• Sea state: Light to moderate waves, becoming rough towards the Bab al-Mandab Strait, as well as with the formation of rain-bearing thunderclouds over the northern part.

Arabian Gulf

• Surface winds: Northwesterly to westerly at 10-35 km/h over the northern and central parts and southwesterly to westerly at 10-28 km/h over the southern part.
• Wave height: from half a meter to one and a half meters on the northern and central parts, and from half a meter to one meter on the southern part.
• Sea state: Light to moderate waves.
