The preacher of the Grand Mosque: Qualities that help people to be saved from Hellfire

urged the Grand Mosque in Mecca, Dr. Maher Al-Muaiqly,
He emphasized that true success for the righteous lies in their salvation from Hellfire, and this success can only be achieved by entering Paradise.
Dr. Al-Muaiqly explained that there is no third abode in the Hereafter; it is either Hellfire or Paradise. Entering Paradise requires striving, for Hellfire is surrounded by temptations, and souls are naturally inclined towards these desires.
Actions that save one from Hellfire
He stated that maintaining the prayers is a great means of salvation from Hellfire, especially the Fajr and Asr prayers.
He added that fasting is also a shield and protection from Hellfire, and even after the fast of Ramadan ends, voluntary fasting remains. He further stated that good character,
gentleness, and kindness towards others are among the means of salvation from Hellfire. He concluded by saying that whoever is blessed with daughters or sisters and treats them well will find them a shield from Hellfire. Whoever fears God in their treatment of them will enter Paradise.
