Thunderstorms and flash floods: Weather details across the Kingdom

warned The National Center for Meteorology, in its weather for Wednesday, thunderstorms moderate to heavy floodsand hail remains high in parts of Riyadh, Makkah, Al-Baha, Asir, Jazan, and Najran regions.
Light to moderate rain is expected in parts of the Eastern Province, the Northern Borders, Al-Jawf, Tabuk, Hail, and Qassim regions.
Meanwhile, active winds stirring up dust and sand will continue to affect parts of these regions, as well as parts of Madinah.
Red Sea
Surface winds: Northerly to northwesterly at a speed of 20-40 km/h on the northern and central parts, and northwesterly to westerly at a speed of 15-35 km/h, reaching up to 50 km/h with the formation of rain-bearing thunderclouds on the southern part.
Wave height: from one to two meters, reaching more than two and a half meters with the formation of rain-bearing thunderclouds over the southern part.
Sea state: Light to moderate waves, becoming rough with the formation of rain-bearing thunderclouds over the southern part.
Arabian Gulf
Surface winds: Northwesterly to northeasterly at a speed of 10-35 km/h, reaching more than 50 km/h with the formation of rain-bearing thunderclouds.
Wave height: from half a meter to one and a half meters, reaching more than two meters with the formation of rain-bearing thunderclouds.
Sea state: Light to moderate waves, becoming rough with the formation of rain-bearing thunderclouds.
Rain in the Eastern Province
issued The National Center for Meteorology warning weather for light rain in parts of the Eastern Province on Wednesday.
The rain is expected to begin at noon and continue until 11:00 PM.
The warning covers Jubail, Khobar, Dammam, Qatif, Ras Tanura, Al-Ahsa, Al-Udayd, Abqaiq, Khafji, Nairyah, and Qaryat Al-Ulya
. The accompanying effects include active winds, reduced horizontal visibility, and thunderstorms.
