His Excellency the Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu, Mr. Bandar bin Ibrahim Al-Khorayef, conducted an extensive inspection visit to Ras Al-Khair Industrial City. He toured Ras Al-Khair Port and several facilities belonging to Ma'aden, in addition to the Royal Commission's operations center. This strategic visit aimed to assess the readiness of vital facilities, monitor the efficiency of supply chains, and ensure the smooth flow of transportation and shipping, thereby guaranteeing business continuity and enhancing the resilience of industrial performance amidst rapid regional developments.

The inspection visit included the Ma’aden Phosphate Company complex, where His Excellency reviewed the operational readiness and rapid response systems in the crisis and disaster emergency room. The Minister emphasized the paramount importance of adhering to the highest standards of occupational safety and environmental sustainability, praising the role of this system in enhancing the efficiency of responding to operational challenges and dealing with emergencies effectively. In a related context, Al-Khorayef also visited Ma’aden Aluminum Company, where he was briefed on a presentation outlining the company’s future expansion plans and production capacities. This highlights the integrated roles of government entities and private sector establishments in supporting industrial growth and enhancing the competitiveness of the investment environment in the Kingdom.

His Excellency commended the center's advanced infrastructure and praised the qualified national personnel who manage this system with efficiency and competence. He was accompanied on this important visit by a number of senior officials, most notably His Excellency the Chairman of the Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu, Engineer Khalid bin Mohammed Al-Salem; His Excellency the Deputy Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources for Mining Affairs, Engineer Khalid bin Saleh Al-Mudaifer; the CEO of the Royal Commission in Jubail, Engineer Mahmoud bin Saleh Al-Dheeb; and the CEO of the Saudi Export Development Authority, Engineer Bader bin Sulaiman Al-Harbash.
