This pioneering two-day event aims primarily to instill environmental awareness and train the younger generation in the fundamentals of agriculture through interactive, hands-on experiences. The nursery affiliated with the Ministry's Qatif branch hosted a series of engaging activities specifically designed to teach young children proper soil and water management techniques, as well as to observe the stages of plant growth step by step, thus fostering a stronger connection with nature.

Engineer Al-Shuwaired explained that the program relies entirely on the experiential learning methodology, a modern educational strategy that has proven effective in developing research, exploration, and teamwork skills in children at an early age. Promoting a culture of home gardening and community partnership
Al-Shuwaired explained that the event significantly contributes to introducing young people to the fundamentals of home gardening and how to utilize small spaces in homes to produce beneficial plants. This fosters a sense of responsibility in them towards protecting and preserving natural resources. He noted that this successful program, which garnered widespread and remarkable participation from children and their families, was implemented in close collaboration with the Al-Ataa Women's Charitable Society and with valuable support from the Silah Al-Ataa Society in Qatif Governorate.
