Al-Sawahah discusses AI advancement with technology leaders in Davos

In a move reflecting the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's accelerated efforts to solidify its position as a regional and global hub for technology and innovation, the Minister of Communications and Information Technology, Engineer Abdullah bin Amer Al-Swaha, held a series of intensive strategic meetings with leading figures from major global technology companies. This took place during the participation of the Kingdom's high-level delegation in the World Economic Forum's annual meeting in Davos, Switzerland, where discussions focused on strengthening partnerships in the fields of artificial intelligence, cloud computing, and big data.
Strengthening the infrastructure of the digital economy
These moves come as part of the Kingdom's relentless pursuit of the goals of Vision 2030, which places digital transformation and the building of a knowledge-based economy at the heart of its priorities. Minister Al-Swaha's meetings focused on discussing ways to develop existing partnerships and create new opportunities that support the growth of the digital economy and keep pace with the rapid developments of the Fourth Industrial Revolution. During the meetings, Engineer Al-Sawah discussed with Bill McDermott, Chairman and CEO of ServiceNow , mechanisms for employing automation and enterprise artificial intelligence solutions to enhance the efficiency of digital services. The discussions also included a meeting with Justin Hotard, CEO of Nokia , where opportunities for partnership in developing advanced telecommunications networks were explored.
