Passport Department volunteers during Hajj: A humanitarian effort to serve the guests of God

As part of its social responsibility, the General Directorate of Passports is bolstering its field operations at 16 international air, land, and sea ports across the Kingdom. This reflects the scale of the operational efforts undertaken by the Directorate during the Hajj season, including comprehensive field and organizational coordination to ensure smooth flow of movement and procedures at arrival and departure points.
The Directorate prepared the volunteers through specialized training workshops covering passenger interaction, the use of electronic gates, and travel procedures. This training equips them to guide and assist pilgrims efficiently within the terminals, enabling them to play supportive roles in passport control areas, including organization, guidance, assisting the elderly and people with disabilities, and educating pilgrims on travel procedures.

These efforts coincide with the ongoing work of the Passports Directorate during the Hajj season, through supporting platforms with the latest equipment and systems, strengthening qualified personnel, and monitoring operations in the field through the Command and Control Center, which operates around the clock to ensure smooth procedures and continued high-efficiency performance.
