During the tour of “Al-Youm”, the most notable thing that caught attention this year was the widespread presence of what is known as “Eidiyat boxes”, which have turned from simple cash envelopes into integrated products that carry a festive character. These boxes varied between elegant boxes, decorated cartons and small boxes specially designed to present Eidiyat to children in an innovative way.

Multiple designs for Eid gifts have also appeared, some traditional with a heritage character bearing congratulatory phrases, while others have taken on a modern character with bright colors and fun drawings that attract children. This diversity has provided shoppers with wide options, who are now looking for different ways to present Eid gifts that bring an atmosphere of joy and wonder to the children.

These decorations have become part of the household traditions for many families, who strive to create a festive atmosphere in their homes before Eid. This year, a greater variety of designs was observed, ranging from traditional Saudi styles to those inspired by Islamic motifs and gold, as well as modern styles featuring bright colors and cartoon characters suitable for children.

Sweets are an essential part of the Eid table

Sweets, in turn, secured a prominent place on shoppers' shopping lists. Confectionery shops witnessed a significant increase in demand for boxes of chocolates and assorted sweets, traditionally offered to guests during the Eid holidays.
