Saudi scouts serve pilgrims during Ramadan with 600 volunteers

The Secretary-General of the Saudi Arabian Scouts Association, Dr. Abdulrahman bin Ibrahim Al-Mudaires, emphasized the pivotal role played by Saudi scouts in enhancing the services provided to pilgrims during the holy month of Ramadan. He commended the young men and women for their dedicated efforts in the field, reflecting the positive image of the people of this nation and their devotion to serving those visiting the Grand Mosque.

This came during an inspection tour conducted by Dr. Al-Mudaires to the public service camp in Makkah for the Ramadan season of 1447 AH, where he personally inspected the progress of work at the sites designated for the scouting units, and reviewed the operational plans implemented by the association in cooperation with relevant authorities to serve pilgrims and worshippers during the holy month.

A long-standing legacy in serving the Two Holy Mosques

The tour included monitoring the volunteer work routes in which more than 600 scouts and field leaders are involved, distributed across vital tasks that include supporting the Special Forces for Hajj and Umrah Security in organizing crowds, and providing field guidance to pilgrims in cooperation with the General Authority for the Care of the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque, in order to ensure the smooth flow of movement and raise the efficiency of performance in the central area.

The Director explained that the association has mobilized its human resources from various scouting sectors in the regions of the Kingdom, stressing that these efforts were not a coincidence, but were preceded by intensive qualification and training programs to consolidate the values ​​of discipline and responsibility among the participants, and to provide them with the necessary skills to deal with human density according to the highest standards of quality and impact measurement.
