The Education and Training Evaluation Commission (ETEC) has officially announced the approved timeline for the start of registration for the 2026 Achievement Test for female students across all regions of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. ETEC clarified that the registration process will begin tomorrow, Monday, March 2, 2026, following a phased approach designed to manage the flow of test takers and ensure the quality of technical services provided through the National Center for Assessment's website.

The Achievement Test is one of the most important national criteria used by the higher education system in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to differentiate between male and female students applying to universities. The importance of this test lies in measuring students' achievement in a number of core subjects during secondary school, making it an accurate indicator of their cognitive and academic abilities. This test, along with the General Aptitude Test and the high school GPA, constitutes the weighted percentage that determines a student's university placement, reflecting the educational authorities' commitment to achieving fairness and transparency in allocating university places based on merit and competence.
Details of the registration dates for the achievement test by region
The authority adopted a precise timetable to ensure a smooth registration process, dividing registration periods according to administrative regions. The first phase for female students in the Riyadh region begins on Monday, March 2, followed by the Makkah region on Tuesday, March 3. On Wednesday, March 4, registration will be available for female students in Madinah, Asir, and Qassim. Thursday, March 5, is designated for female students in the Eastern Province and Jazan, while the phased approach concludes on Friday, March 6, with the inclusion of female students in Tabuk, Hail, Al-Jawf, Najran, the Northern Borders, and Al-Baha.

Regarding deadlines, the authority has set Thursday, May 14, 2026, as the last day for registration in the first period, while registration for the second period will continue until Saturday, June 6, 2026. The actual exams for the first period are scheduled to take place from May 13 to 17, 2026, while the exams for the second period will be held from June 5 to 9, 2026. The authority emphasized the importance of students adhering to the specified deadlines and registering early to ensure they are assigned the most suitable locations and times.
