The Minister of Interior offers condolences to Kuwait for the two border martyrs and affirms solidarity

His Royal Highness Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Interior, today made a telephone call to His Excellency Sheikh Fahad Yousef Saud Al-Sabah, First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior of the State of Kuwait. During the call, His Royal Highness expressed his deepest condolences and sincere sympathy on the martyrdom of two members of the General Directorate of Land Border Security of the Kuwaiti Ministry of Interior, as a result of the blatant Iranian aggression that targeted the sovereignty and security of the State of Kuwait. He prayed to God Almighty to have mercy on the martyrs, grant them eternal peace in Paradise, and give their families patience and solace.
The depth of fraternal relations and shared destiny
In the context of strengthening fraternal ties, His Royal Highness Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud affirmed during the call that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia stands firmly with the sisterly State of Kuwait in confronting all challenges. His Highness emphasized that Kuwait's security is an integral part of the Kingdom's security, in a clear message reflecting the deep-rooted historical relations between the two countries. These relations, whose foundations were laid by the leadership of both nations over decades, transcend mere diplomatic cooperation, reaching the level of shared destiny and blood ties, as historical events have repeatedly demonstrated that what affects Kuwait affects the Kingdom, and vice versa.
Minister of Interior and Sustainable Security Cooperation
Speaking about joint coordination, Interior Minister Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud noted that the interior ministries of both countries operate as a unified security system, in accordance with the directives of the wise leadership in both brotherly nations. This intensive coordination comes at a time when the region is facing regional challenges that demand the highest levels of vigilance and readiness. Security cooperation between Riyadh and Kuwait extends beyond the mere exchange of information to include the protection of land and sea borders and the combating of all forms of threats that could undermine the stability of the Arabian Gulf.
Regional dimensions and firm messages
This phone call carries significant political and security implications on both the regional and international levels. It sends a firm message that the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) states, particularly Saudi Arabia and Kuwait, stand united against any attempts to destabilize the region or infringe upon national sovereignty. This immediate and direct solidarity reflects a unified deterrence strategy and affirms to the international community that the security of the Gulf borders is a red line that cannot be crossed, and that any aggression will be met with a firm and unified stance that protects national achievements and safeguards the lives of those who defend the homeland.
