Saudi aid to Gaza: Distribution of meals and food baskets in the Strip
The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center continues to provide Saudi aid to Gaza to alleviate the suffering of the Palestinian people in light of the current situation. In this context, the Center distributed 793 food baskets yesterday to displaced families sheltering in schools in Khan Younis, southern Gaza Strip, benefiting 4,758 individuals. This initiative is part of the “Baskets of Goodness” project, which aims to support food security and provide basic necessities for those affected in the Gaza Strip.
Ongoing efforts to secure food for displaced families
Beneficiaries in the Gaza Strip expressed their deep gratitude to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, its leadership and people, and to the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center for its pioneering role. They emphasized that this food aid is a vital lifeline for displaced families facing extremely difficult living conditions due to a lack of basic resources. These humanitarian initiatives are part of the Kingdom's longstanding commitment to standing with the Palestinian people through the various crises and hardships they endure.
Central kitchen and distribution of daily hot meals
In parallel with the distribution of food baskets, the central kitchen of the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center continued preparing and distributing hot meals in the Gaza Strip. The kitchen distributed 25,000 hot meals to the most vulnerable groups in the central and southern areas of the Strip, benefiting 25,000 individuals. These efforts fall under the umbrella of the Saudi popular campaign to aid the brotherly Palestinian people, which aims to bridge the food gap and provide direct, daily support to those affected.
