Career Days kick off at Alfaisal University: 400 job and training opportunities

In a strategic move aimed at enhancing national talent and integrating it into vital sectors, His Royal Highness Prince Bandar bin Saud bin Khalid, Secretary General of the King Faisal Foundation and Chairman of the Executive Committee at Alfaisal University , inaugurated the “Career Days” exhibition. This annual event underscores the university’s unwavering commitment to bridging the gap between academia and the evolving demands of the job market.

An interactive platform for building a professional future

During the opening ceremony, attended by University Rector Dr. Mohammed Al-Hayaza and Prince Mansour bin Saad bin Farhan, His Royal Highness Prince Bandar bin Saud emphasized that "Career Days" is not merely a job fair, but a pivotal moment in the academic journey of students and graduates. The event, which runs until January 29th, provides a direct platform for interaction between job seekers and decision-makers from leading companies and institutions, facilitating the transition from the classroom to the workplace.

This event is of particular importance in light of the economic transformations taking place in the Kingdom, as it contributes to guiding young talents towards the most in-demand career paths, thus enhancing their chances of reaching leadership positions in the future.

Quality opportunities and broad sectoral diversity

This year's exhibition features over 400 job opportunities and 100 cooperative training opportunities, spanning vital sectors such as technology, industry, healthcare, legal consulting, and banking. His Highness noted that this diversity reflects the rapid growth of the national economy and the market's pressing need for qualified professionals in specialized fields.

The opportunities available were not limited to direct employment after graduation, but also included training programs for students during their studies, which proved successful in previous years, as many training opportunities turned into permanent employment contracts thanks to the efficiency of the university's graduates.

Alignment with the Kingdom's Vision 2030

For his part, Dr. Mohammed Al-Hayaza, President of Alfaisal University, explained that organizing “Career Days” directly contributes to achieving the goals of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 , specifically with regard to the Human Capital Development Program. Through these initiatives, the university seeks to bridge the gap between educational outcomes and the needs of the labor market, particularly in promising sectors such as logistics and consulting.

Al-Hayaza added that the university is keen to provide its students with the tools and skills necessary to compete globally, noting that the exhibition includes specialized “career clinics” that offer individual guidance sessions and mock job interviews, which raises the readiness of graduates and gives them the confidence necessary to start their professional lives successfully.

It is worth mentioning that Alfaisal University is one of the most prominent non-profit educational institutions in the Kingdom, and plays a pivotal role in supplying the national economy with competencies capable of contributing effectively to sustainable development and building a bright future for the Kingdom.
