Furthermore, the procedures include completing passport requirements at the departure airport after verifying compliance with the necessary health requirements. Baggage is also coded and sorted according to transportation and accommodation arrangements within the Kingdom, allowing pilgrims upon arrival to proceed directly to designated buses transporting them to their accommodations in Mecca and Medina via dedicated routes, while partner agencies handle the delivery of their luggage directly to their residences without any hassle.

A pioneering vision and a history full of service and giving

This initiative is a key component of the Guests of God Service Program, one of the executive programs of the Kingdom's Vision 2030. Launched in 1438 AH (2017 CE), the initiative has achieved successive successes over eight years of continuous service. Since its inception, it has successfully provided high-quality services to more than 1,254,994 pilgrims, reflecting the Kingdom's longstanding commitment to the care of the Two Holy Mosques and their visitors.

The efforts of many governmental and private entities are integrated to successfully implement the initiative, with the Ministry of Interior participating in cooperation with the Ministries of Foreign Affairs, Health, Hajj and Umrah, Media, the General Authority of Civil Aviation, the Zakat and Tax Authority, Customs, the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA), the General Authority for Endowments, the General Directorate of Passports, in addition to the digital partner (stc Group), to provide a unique digital and organizational experience.

Widespread positive impact locally and internationally

The initiative's impact extends beyond the Kingdom's internal regulatory framework, reaching a broad international and regional dimension. Domestically, it helps alleviate pressure on the Kingdom's land and air entry points, enabling highly efficient crowd management using the latest digital technologies.

At the international and regional levels, the initiative strengthens bilateral relations between Saudi Arabia and beneficiary countries such as Pakistan, Turkey, Bangladesh, Indonesia, Malaysia, Morocco, and Côte d'Ivoire. It also presents a globally exemplary model for managing major events and facilitating international cross-border travel using smart solutions, showcasing the Kingdom's civilized and humanitarian approach to serving Muslims worldwide.
