Third Saudi-Turkish Coordination Council meeting to strengthen relations

His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, the Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs, and His Excellency Hakan Fidan, the Turkish Minister of Foreign Affairs, co-chaired the third meeting of the Saudi-Turkish Coordination Council, held today in Ankara, the Turkish capital. This high-level meeting reflects the advanced and robust relations between the governments of the two brotherly countries and stems from their firm commitment to strengthening coordination and cooperation across all fields. The meeting aims to serve common interests and fulfill the aspirations of the leadership and people of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Republic of Turkey for further progress and prosperity.

Outcomes of the third meeting of the Saudi-Turkish Coordination Council
At the beginning of the meeting, the two co-chairs of the Council reviewed the course of bilateral relations and emphasized the paramount importance of framing current and future cooperation within the framework of the Council as an institutional entity that ensures sustainable progress and shared prosperity. Both sides stressed the need to maximize the utilization of the capabilities and resources available to both countries and to invest them optimally to achieve mutual benefits. The two ministers expressed their deep appreciation for the effective role played by the Council Secretariat and its subsidiary committees in following up on the implementation of recommendations and translating them into tangible realities that benefit both countries.
Regional and international dimensions to enhance bilateral cooperation

At the conclusion of the meeting, His Highness the Minister of Foreign Affairs and His Excellency his Turkish counterpart, the co-chairs of the Council, signed the minutes of the third meeting. During the signing ceremony, they expressed their eagerness to hold the fourth meeting of the Council in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, at a date to be agreed upon later through diplomatic channels.
The meeting was attended by a high-level Saudi delegation, comprising Their Excellencies and Highnesses, the heads of the Council's subsidiary committees and the General Secretariat. The delegation included His Excellency the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Engineer Waleed bin Abdulkarim Al-Khuraiji; His Excellency the Assistant Minister of Defense for Executive Affairs, Dr. Khalid bin Hussein Al-Bayari; and His Excellency the Deputy Minister of Human Resources and Social Development for Labor, Dr. Abdullah bin Nasser Abuthnain. Also participating were His Excellency the Assistant Minister of Investment, Engineer Ibrahim bin Yousef Al-Mubarak; the Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to the Republic of Turkey, Fahd Abu Al-Nasr; the Assistant Undersecretary for International Cooperation at the Ministry of Culture, Dr. Fahd bin Obaidullah Al-Humaidani; and the Secretary-General of the Council from the Saudi side, Engineer Fahd Al-Harthi.
