Saudi Arabia welcomes the Security Council's condemnation of Iranian aggression against the Gulf and Jordan

I expressed Ministry of Foreign Affairs The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia welcomes the adoption by the Security Council of Resolution 2817, submitted by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Kingdom of Bahrain, the United Arab Emirates, the State of Qatar, the Sultanate of Oman, the State of Kuwait, and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, which condemns in the strongest terms the heinous attacks launched by the Republic Iran Islamic law on the territories of the Gulf States and Jordan, and decides that these actions constitute a violation of international law and a serious threat to international peace and security.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirmed the Kingdom’s welcome of the contents of the resolution, including the condemnation of the attack on residential areas and the targeting of civilian objects, and the losses caused by the attacks to civilians and damage to civilian buildings, and solidarity with these countries and their peoples.

Stop Iranian aggression
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs notes the international support for the resolution and the international condemnation of these brutal Iranian attacks, demanding their immediate and unconditional cessation, as well as an end to any provocation or threat against neighboring countries, including the use of proxies.
The Kingdom affirms its commitment to the resolution's provisions and its full right to take all necessary measures to protect its security, sovereignty, and territorial integrity, and to deter aggression, as recognized in Article 51 of the Charter of the United Nations.
