Hajj City in Al-Shaqiq begins receiving pilgrims

Spanning an area of over 113,000 square meters, the Pilgrims’ City represents a major station for the guests of God, with a range of services that ensure the facilitation and comfort of the pilgrims’ journey through 13 accommodation rooms, 3 reception halls, a control and command room, an enrichment exhibition that introduces the pilgrims to their rituals, more than 100 health facilities, a central kitchen with a capacity of up to 5,000 meals per hour, and seven vehicles that transport within the city.

Welcoming the pilgrims
The Hajj and Umrah Services Association in Al-Jawf operates and manages the site under the supervision of the Al-Jawf Governorate, in collaboration with several partner government entities, including the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, the Al-Jawf Municipality (represented by the Dumat Al-Jandal Municipality), the Ministry of Transport and Logistics, the Al-Jawf Health Cluster, security sectors, and the Al-Jawf Islamic Affairs Department.
Government services are supported by various partnerships, including the Princess Seeta Endowment (providing electricity, urban development, and meals), the Abdulaziz Al-Rajhi Endowments, the Al-Safwa Foundation, the Ikram Association, the Rahma Association, and the Sadana Association. Community contributions include those from Wasat Al-Qassim Company, Al-Qurash Company, Dhaifallah Al-Otaibi Company, Qasawir Company, and the Nusuk Humanitarian Foundation.
The city receives pilgrims and Umrah performers from Iraq, Syria, Jordan, and Palestine.
