The Saudi Ministry of Health recorded widespread community engagement during 2025, with the participation of approximately 200,000 people in the initiativeWalk 30Across 120 cities, with the aim of promoting healthy lifestyles and preventing diseases.
Official indicators showed an increasing trend towards adopting positive behaviors, as the events included various age groups in all regions and governorates of the Kingdom.
The ministry revealed that the initiative received significant support from 16 prominent leaders and specialists, in a move that contributed to enhancing health awareness in the community.

Promoting a culture of walking as a sport
The ministry also noted the participation of 15 social media influencers, which helped broaden the initiative's reach and enhance its social impact.
It explained that "Walk 30" primarily aims to encourage community members to engage in moderate physical activity for 30 minutes daily.

In its annual report, the ministry emphasized that promoting a culture of walking contributes to improving quality of life and supports the goals of Saudi Vision 2030 towards building a healthy and active society.
