Urgent: “Wiqaa” protects 80 million palm trees and reduces red palm weevil infestations to 0.15%

It revealed the use of the advanced "BugVape" technology to inspect more than 640,000 palm trees and conduct precise, direct inspections.
The National Center for Plant Pest and Animal Disease Prevention and Control (Wiqa') emphasized that these efforts aim to bolster Saudi date exports.
It added that work continues to improve the quality of agricultural products in line with the Kingdom's Vision 2030 goals for achieving sustainability.
