"Solutions Car": Technological and awareness-raising innovations to serve the environmental sector in Makkah

The branch's Assistant Director General for Support and Empowerment, Engineer Hani Al-Maimouni, inaugurated these strategic events with the active participation of King Abdulaziz University's President, Dr. Tarif Al-A'ma.
The opening ceremony was attended by a distinguished group of representatives from governmental and academic institutions, as well as leaders from the non-profit sector.
The launch garnered significant interest from those concerned with environmental issues, along with a large turnout of students and volunteer teams supporting this green initiative.
Various awareness and educational segments
The official ceremony included a series of awareness and educational segments, specifically designed to highlight the main objectives of this year's Environment Week.
The agenda also featured special recognition for participating and supporting entities, acknowledging their active contributions to the event's success and their support for raising community awareness.
Participants also toured several interactive pavilions and environmental initiatives associated with the event to explore the latest innovations.
"Car Solutions" environmental services
The "Solutions Car" initiative stood out at the exhibition, attracting visitors with its innovative awareness and technological options that directly serve the environmental sector.
This mobile platform aims to raise community awareness through unconventional methods and provide smart and effective solutions to various environmental challenges.
In this context, the Director General of the Ministry's branch in the Makkah region, Engineer Waleed Al-Daghis, affirmed that these annual events are a strategic extension of the Ministry's efforts to enhance quality of life.
Al-Daghis explained that the initiative directly aligns with the goals of the Kingdom's Vision 2030 by protecting and developing natural resources.
He pointed out that the current strategy focuses on disseminating environmental awareness and encouraging all members of society to adopt positive daily practices.
Through these comprehensive partnerships, the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture seeks to build balanced environmental development that ensures the sustainability of resources for future generations.
