Weather forecast: Thunderstorms and flash floods expected in parts of 9 regions

The National Center for Meteorology expects, in its report on the weather today, Monday, in the regions of the Kingdom, the continuation of moderate to heavy thunderstorms flash floods accompanied by hail showers and active winds stirring up dust and sand in parts of the Qassim, Riyadh and Eastern regions, while it will be light to moderate in parts of the Najran, Jazan, Asir, Al-Baha, Makkah and Madinah regions.
Red Sea
Surface winds: Northwesterly to northerly on the northern and central parts, and southeasterly to southerly on the southern part at a speed of 20-42 km/h, reaching 55 km/h towards the Bab al-Mandab Strait.
Wave height: from one to two meters, reaching two and a half meters towards the Bab al-Mandab Strait.
Sea conditions: Moderate to rough seas towards the Bab al-Mandab Strait.

Arabian Gulf
Surface winds: Southeasterly to easterly at a speed of 12-35 km/h, reaching up to 50 km/h, with the formation of rain-bearing thunderclouds over the northern and central parts.
Wave height: from half a meter to one and a half meters, reaching two and a half meters with the formation of rain-bearing thunderclouds over the northern and central parts.
Sea state: Light to moderate waves, becoming rough with the formation of rain-bearing thunderclouds over the northern and central parts.
Rain and dust in the Eastern Province
The National Center for Meteorology issued weather warning for the Eastern Province on Monday moderate rain and dust storms .
Rain is expected to begin at 2 PM and continue until 11 PM in Jubail, Khobar, Dammam, Qatif, and Ras Tanura .
will be accompanied by strong winds, near-zero visibility, hail, flash floods, and thunderstorms .
Hafar Al-Batin will experience dust storms starting at 8 AM and continuing until 7 PM .
These storms will result in strong winds and reduced horizontal visibility (3-5 kilometers) .
