Al-Rabeeah: No Hajj without a proper visa... and the rituals cannot be performed with an Umrah visa – Urgent

The Ministry held Hajj and Umrah Today, via video conference, the seventeenth regular meeting with Saudi Umrah companiesUnder the patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Hajj and Umrah, Dr. Tawfiq bin Fawzan Al-Rabiah.
This was on the occasion of the conclusion of the Umrah season for the year 1447 AH, with the participation of a number of ministry leaders and representatives of Umrah companies, within the framework of strengthening the partnership with the sector, evaluating the results of the season and identifying the most prominent successes and challenges.

Serving the guests of God

The meeting began with a speech by His Excellency the Minister, who commended the efforts of Umrah companies and their cooperation during Ramadan, acknowledging their work in serving pilgrims, addressing the situations of stranded Umrah performers, and facilitating their return to their destinations.
He emphasized the importance of continued adherence to the regulations and instructions governing the Umrah season, including the staggered arrival of pilgrims at airports according to schedules and the continuous updating of their departure data via the “Nusk Masar” platform. He also invited companies to actively participate in the third edition of the Umrah and Visit Forum.
He stressed the regulations governing the Hajj season, affirming that Hajj is only valid with a valid Hajj visa and cannot be performed with an Umrah visa, while also reminding pilgrims of the established dates for the Umrah season.

Umrah visas

The last Umrah visas will be issued on the first of Shawwal, and the last date for pilgrims to enter the Kingdom will be the fifteenth of Shawwal. Their last day of stay in the Kingdom will be the first of Dhu al-Qi'dah.
The meeting included a presentation on the most prominent indicators of the Umrah season and the successes achieved during it, in addition to preparations for the third edition of the Umrah and Visit Forum in 2026. The forum's role in supporting partnerships, exchanging expertise, and showcasing available opportunities was also discussed, all of which contribute to enhancing the Umrah and visit services system.
This meeting is part of the periodic meetings organized by the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah with Umrah companies, aimed at strengthening communication with sector partners and monitoring the development of services provided to pilgrims, in line with the Kingdom's Vision 2030 goals of improving the experience of Umrah pilgrims and visitors.
