The Ministry of Interior: A fine of 20,000 riyals will be imposed on anyone who performs or attempts to perform Hajj without a permit

has confirmed The Ministry of Interior that a fine of up to 20,000 riyals will be imposed on anyone caught performing or attempting to perform Hajj without a permit. Residents and those who overstay their visas who attempt to perform Hajj illegally will be deported to their home countries and banned from entering the Kingdom for 10 years. These measures will be in effect from the first day of Dhu al-Qi'dah until the end of the fourteenth day of Dhu al-Hijjah.
The Ministry of Interior urges everyone to adhere to the regulations governing this year's Hajj season (1447 AH) and to cooperate with the relevant authorities to ensure the safety and security of the pilgrims. Violations will be subject to legal penalties.
The Ministry also encourages reporting any violations by calling 911 in the Makkah, Madinah, Riyadh, and Eastern Province regions, and 999 in the rest of the Kingdom.
