The United Nations: The Kingdom affirms the need to confront Iranian violations and hold it responsible for the escalation

The Permanent Representative of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the United Nations, Ambassador Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Wasil, affirmed that the Kingdom reiterates its firm stance in condemning Iranian aggression , which constitutes a blatant violation of state sovereignty and a direct threat to regional and international security and stability.
The Ambassador explained that the Kingdom continues, through its participation in UN deliberations, including the Security Council and the General Assembly, to emphasize the necessity of addressing these violations, holding Iran accountable for the escalation, and halting its destabilizing activities in the region.

Iranian attacks

He noted that the Kingdom is continuously working to coordinate with member states and international partners to build a unified international position that enhances security and stability and reduces threats to vital installations and the safety of international navigation.
Dr. Al-Wasil stressed the importance of relying on evidence and facts to highlight the scale of these attacks, calling on the international community to take a firm stance that ensures respect for international law and the UN Charter, and holds those responsible for these violations accountable.
At the same time, the ambassador affirmed the Kingdom's support for all efforts aimed at de-escalation and peaceful solutions, while emphasizing the need to stop interference in the affairs of states, which contributes to achieving sustainable security and stability in the region.
