Wednesday and Thursday: Light to moderate rain warning for Riyadh

warned The National Center for Meteorology in its weather that Riyadh and its governorates will be affected by rainfall on Wednesday and Thursday, urging residents to take full precautions and immediately stay away from areas prone to flash flooding.
The weather forecast indicated that these weather changes will affect the capital, Riyadh, as well as the governorates of Al-Dilam, Al-Muzahmiya, Dhurma, Marat, Thadiq, Huraymila, and Ad-Diriyah, accompanied by unstable weather conditions that require extreme caution while traveling.
Extension of rainfall effects
The weather report indicated that rainfall would extend to the areas of Rumah, Al-Rayn, Hawtat Bani Tamim, Al-Hariq, Al-Kharj, Al-Ghat, Al-Zulfi, Al-Majma'ah, and Shaqra, encompassing a wide geographical area within the administrative region.
Official warnings emphasized the necessity of strictly adhering to traffic safety guidelines and avoiding crossing valleys or approaching low-lying watercourses to ensure the safety of lives and property throughout the period of rainfall.
