The "Whoever Saves a Life" blood donation campaign collected 77 bags of blood in Saihat

The city of Saihat witnessed a successful launch of "Whoever Saves a Life" blood donation campaign , achieving a remarkable 77 units of blood on its first day. This humanitarian campaign is a joint initiative and a leading community partnership between the Saihat Social Services Association (Saada) and Al-Khaleej Sports Club, in close cooperation with Qatif Central Hospital, with the aim of bolstering blood bank reserves and meeting the growing medical needs of patients in the Eastern Province.

The campaign will continue to receive blood donations from men and women for three days, specifically from April 21st to 23rd, at the Al-Khaleej Club in Saihat, from 5:00 PM to 8:30 PM. The initiative aims to instill a culture of volunteerism as a paramount humanitarian and social value, while also providing vital support to local hospitals that rely heavily on such campaigns to secure blood units of various types, especially for emergency cases, cancer patients, and major surgical procedures.

The campaign's reaching its 26th stop reflects the depth of community awareness and the deeply rooted values ​​of solidarity in Qatif Governorate, and Saihat in particular. Al-Talib explained that the campaign's success is not merely a matter of numbers, but a living embodiment of the spirit of giving and human solidarity. He added, "Through this edition, we aspire to provide exceptional support to blood banks, and we believe that every drop of blood donated by members of the community directly contributes to saving a life and alleviating the suffering of patients." He also commended the comprehensive organizational and medical preparations made by the volunteer and healthcare staff to ensure the safety and smoothness of the donation process for all participants.
