Wa'i Association launches its new identity: Leadership in community awareness

the Wa'i Association launched its new visual and strategic identity under the slogan "Building Awareness to Leave a Lasting Impact." This took place during the 11th annual Ramadan Forum, held to celebrate the association's 20th anniversary, marking a new starting point for strengthening social awareness through high-quality programs and rehabilitation initiatives aimed at achieving a tangible and sustainable impact on various segments of society.
The pioneering role of the Wa'i Association in social and developmental work
The launch of the new identity of the Wa'i Association isolated from the significant developmental movement underway in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, where the non-profit sector represents a fundamental pillar of the Kingdom's Vision 2030. For two decades, the association has kept pace with social transformations, moving from the traditional concept of charity to that of sustainable social development. This step is of paramount importance in the context of enhancing "quality of life," as social awareness is the cornerstone of building a vibrant, cohesive society capable of addressing behavioral and social challenges with civilized and scientific approaches.
Reviewing achievements in terms of numbers and impact
During the forum, Abdulaziz Al-Ajlan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of "Wa'i," reviewed the association's achievements, reflecting the scale of its efforts. The association implemented 4,892 programs and initiatives. Al-Ajlan emphasized that these figures are not mere statistics, but rather indicators of a sustainable impact that serves the community and contributes to achieving national development goals. He noted that the new identity reflects the association's ambitious vision of establishing awareness and building impactful initiatives based on community partnerships and organized institutional work that ensures the continuity of its contributions and the quality of its outcomes.
Promoting family and community stability
The association's strategy focuses intensively on raising social awareness and educating individuals on the best ways to address social problems, as well as developing rehabilitation, educational, and training programs for various groups. These efforts play a pivotal role in strengthening family bonds, which are the cornerstone of social stability. By supporting and encouraging studies and research that address social phenomena, the association contributes to providing proactive and remedial solutions, thereby fostering positive attitudes among individuals and families toward the community's core values and creating a healthy and sound social environment.
Empowering volunteers: human capital
The forum included a special tribute to former board members and leaders who contributed to developing the organization's institutional framework, as well as celebrating its vast network of volunteers, which now exceeds 14,000. This impressive number highlights the association's success in harnessing community potential, aligning with the national ambition to reach one million volunteers. These volunteers are the driving force behind the sustainability of impactful initiatives and projects, underscoring that investing in human capital is the best investment for ensuring a brighter future and a more informed society.
