100,000 beneficiaries of Ajyad Hospital and Haram Emergency Services by 2025

The health system in the Holy City has achieved a new accomplishment that reflects the efficiency of the medical services provided to the pilgrims and residents of Makkah, as the Makkah Health Cluster that the medical teams in Ajyad Emergency Hospital and the Grand Mosque Hospital and Emergency Centers provided their treatment and ambulance services to more than 100,296 beneficiaries during the year 2025 AD.
Accurate statistics reflect the scale of the achievement
Official statistics released by the association revealed details of the services provided, which were characterized by comprehensiveness and speed of response, with the figures including the following:
- 123,084 accurate laboratory tests were conducted for patients and visitors.
- 14,751 patients benefited from the advanced radiology services.
- 173,018 prescriptions were dispensed through hospital and center pharmacies.
- Providing superior care to 966 cases that required admission to intensive care.

The Ajyad Emergency Hospital and the Haram Emergency Centers are of exceptional importance due to their geographical location adjacent to the Grand Mosque, the Qibla of Muslims. This strategic location serves as the first line of healthcare for the millions of pilgrims and worshippers who flock to the Holy Mosque around the clock. These centers play a pivotal role in handling critical emergencies, such as heart attacks and heat exhaustion, where rapid response is crucial in saving lives within the crowded central area.
