The Saudi Mobility Exhibition 2025 kicks off in Riyadh with the participation of 30 countries
The third edition of the Saudi Mobility Exhibition 2025 hosted by the Riyadh Front Exhibition and Convention Center. This prominent event is held under the patronage of His Excellency Engineer Bader Al-Dalami, Deputy Minister of Transport and Logistics for Roads Affairs and CEO of the General Authority for Roads (RGA), with strategic support from the Authority and in cooperation with Informa Connect, amidst wide international and local participation.
Strategic context: The Kingdom is a global logistics hub
The organization of this exhibition comes at a time when the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is witnessing radical transformations in the transport and logistics sector, in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030. The National Transport and Logistics Strategy works to consolidate the Kingdom's position as a global logistics hub connecting three continents, as the development of road infrastructure and transport networks is a fundamental pillar for achieving sustainable economic development and attracting foreign investment, making this exhibition a vital platform to showcase the latest technological advancements in this field.
Broad international participation and future technologies
The exhibition was inaugurated by Engineer Tariq bin Ziyad Al-Shami, representing the Ministry of Transport and Logistics, on behalf of His Excellency Engineer Bader Al-Dalami. The event runs from December 1st to 3rd, with a massive participation of over 200 exhibitors representing 30 countries worldwide. Thousands of specialists, experts, and decision-makers from both the public and private sectors are gathering under one roof to showcase the latest smart solutions in transportation, sustainable infrastructure, and advanced traffic management technologies.
Global leadership in road connectivity
In his opening remarks, Engineer Al-Shami expressed his gratitude to the wise leadership – may God support them – for their unwavering support of the roads sector, emphasizing that this support has resulted in the Kingdom achieving first place globally in the Road Network Connectivity Index . He explained that this achievement directly contributes to facilitating transportation and empowering various economic sectors. He also stressed that road safety is a central focus of the roads sector program, revealing an ambitious target of achieving a three-star or higher rating for 90% of the road network according to the International Road Assessment Programme (IRAP) by 2030, noting that 77% of the Kingdom's roads currently meet the highest international safety standards.
Future Ways Forum: Expert Dialogue
Concurrently with the exhibition, the "Global Future Roads Forum" is being held, which Mohammed Al-Ajlan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Contractors Authority, described as a gathering of leading industry figures and innovators. The forum will discuss vital topics including:
- Smart roads and infrastructure.
- Developing sustainable and environmentally friendly methods.
- Traffic and Urban Mobility Management.
- Planning the infrastructure for future roads.
The event also features the participation of prominent entities such as the Royal Commission for Riyadh City, the Ministry of Municipalities and Housing, and the Saudi Federation for Cybersecurity, Programming and Drones, reflecting the integration of government efforts to develop the sector.
