The Minister of Interior sponsors the graduation of students from King Fahd Security College

Under the generous patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Interior, King Fahd Security College today witnessed the graduation ceremony of a new batch of 1,662 students, who represent an elite group of qualified national cadres through a number of advanced academic and training programs that meet the aspirations of the wise leadership.

is King Fahd Security College a long-established security institution, dating back to 1354 AH (1935 CE), making it one of the oldest and most prestigious security educational institutions in the Middle East. Over the decades, the college has developed significantly to keep pace with the latest international standards in military and security education and training, making it the primary source of qualified officers and leaders for the Kingdom's security sectors, capable of protecting the nation's resources and achievements and confronting contemporary challenges.

The graduating classes at this prestigious ceremony included 59 graduates from postgraduate programs, specifically the second cohort of the Master of Artificial Intelligence program and the first cohort of the Master of Administrative Leadership program. The graduating classes also included 1,603 graduates from the Bachelor of Science in Security program (67th session) and the 55th qualifying course for university graduate officers. Reflecting the deep fraternal ties and regional cooperation, the graduating class included nine students from the sisterly Republic of Yemen.

During the ceremony, the Acting Director General of the College, Major General Dr. Fahd bin Nasser Al-Watban, delivered a speech in which he expressed his profound gratitude to His Royal Highness the Minister of Interior for his unwavering support and continuous patronage. Major General Al-Watban explained that the educational programs, including the Master's programs in Artificial Intelligence and Administrative Leadership, were implemented through fruitful collaboration with King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST), in addition to the Ministry of Interior's development program. He emphasized that these initiatives and strategic partnerships have directly contributed to enhancing the efficiency of graduates and strengthening the readiness of national personnel to support the security system.

On behalf of his fellow graduates, First Sergeant Yahya bin Abdulaziz Abdullah Bajawi delivered the graduates' address, expressing their gratitude to His Royal Highness the Minister of Interior and affirming their complete readiness to perform their duties with utmost dedication and integrity in service to their religion, their King, and their country, and to live up to the leadership's expectations. Following this, the solemn military ceremony of handing over the college flag from the outgoing sergeant to the incoming sergeant took place, after which the graduates recited the oath of allegiance and obedience.

At the conclusion of the ceremony, His Highness the Minister of Interior honored the college’s partners in implementing the artificial intelligence program. The overall results for the batches were also announced, and His Highness honored the outstanding students, amidst a high-level attendance of Their Highnesses the Princes, Their Excellencies, and senior officials.
