The Madinah Region Development Authority announced the development and equipping of integrated pedestrian walkways dedicated to enhancing services for pilgrims in the central area surrounding the Prophet's Mosque, covering a total area exceeding 19,000 square meters. This commendable initiative is part of the ongoing efforts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to improve the quality of services provided to pilgrims performing Hajj and to enhance their mobility experience in an atmosphere of comfort, safety, and tranquility.

The new project aims to upgrade the infrastructure of Madinah's central area by constructing fully equipped pedestrian walkways and sidewalks to accommodate heavy pedestrian traffic, with special attention to ensuring the accessibility of people with disabilities. This network of roads and paths has been built using high-quality, weather-resistant materials, directly contributing to environmental sustainability and enhancing the operational efficiency of public facilities during peak Hajj and Umrah seasons.
