Readiness of the Kingdom's mosques during the last ten days of Ramadan
With the arrival of the most blessed night of the year, the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia announced the readiness of more than 84,000 mosques and prayer halls to receive worshippers during the last ten nights of Ramadan. This annual initiative aims to meet the high demand for mosques, as Muslims seek Laylat al-Qadr (the Night of Decree) and observe these blessed nights with prayer, supplication, and remembrance of God in an atmosphere of tranquility and peace.

Historically, since its founding, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has given great attention and meticulous care to the Two Holy Mosques and mosques throughout the country. The month of Ramadan, particularly the last ten days, is an exceptional season in which this care is most evident. The Ministry explained that preparations included equipping more than 84,000 mosques and prayer halls across the Kingdom as part of a comprehensive service system. This system aims to provide a comfortable and safe environment conducive to worshippers performing their religious duties. Fieldwork included implementing comprehensive maintenance and cleaning plans and ensuring the safety of vital facilities. Air conditioning, lighting, and sound systems were also upgraded to the highest standards, and carpeting and upkeep of prayer halls and outdoor areas were monitored to accommodate the large numbers of worshippers expected for Taraweeh and Tahajjud prayers.

The impact of these massive preparations extends far beyond the local level, leaving a regional and international mark that reflects the Kingdom's shining example in crowd management and serving pilgrims and worshippers. These preparations are being carried out with the diligent follow-up and direct attention of His Excellency the Minister of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance, Sheikh Dr. Abdul Latif bin Abdulaziz Al-Sheikh. His Excellency is keen to raise the level of services provided and intensify field efforts to ensure complete readiness. In this regard, the Ministry has intensified its monitoring tours through its branches in all regions to follow up on the progress of work and ensure that mosque staff adhere to regulations and instructions. This meticulous oversight guarantees the provision of services in the best possible manner and reflects the great care that the wise leadership bestows upon the houses of God and their worshippers, enabling everyone to perform their rituals in peace and ease.
