The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister - may God protect them - sent reply telegrams of thanks to His Royal Highness Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Interior and Chairman of the Supreme Hajj Committee, on the occasion of his congratulations on the occasion of Eid al-Adha and the announcement of the success of the exceptional Hajj season of 1447 AH, which witnessed the arrival of hundreds of thousands of pilgrims from all parts of the world.
Details of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques' telegram to the Minister of Interior
The reply telegram from the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, to the Minister of Interior stated: “We received Your Highness’s telegram No. 319354 dated 12/12/1447 AH, which included your congratulations on the blessed Eid al-Adha on your behalf and on behalf of Their Highnesses the Princes of the Regions, the members of the Supreme Hajj Committee, the security men, and all governmental and private agencies participating in the Hajj work.”.
King Salman praised the outstanding efforts and integrated security, preventive and organizational plans that were prepared and implemented with high precision, which enabled more than 1,707,301 pilgrims to perform their rituals and move between the holy sites with ease, convenience and security, amid an atmosphere full of spirituality and tranquility, despite the circumstances and challenges that the region is going through.
The Crown Prince appreciates the combined efforts of the government and security forces
For his part, His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, sent a similar reply telegram of thanks to the Minister of Interior, in which he indicated that he had reviewed His Highness's telegram No. 319353 dated 12/12/1447 AH. The Crown Prince expressed his thanks and appreciation to the Minister of Interior and to all those working in the system for serving the pilgrims.
His Highness the Crown Prince affirmed that this excellence came first thanks to God, then to the wise directives and generous care of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, and the precise implementation of security, health, preventive and traffic plans, with comprehensive follow-up by the concerned authorities to ensure the safety and comfort of the pilgrims.
