King Salman Center: Saudi Arabia's arm of benevolence
The establishment of the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center on May 13, 2015, marked a pivotal turning point in the institutionalization of Saudi humanitarian work, making it the official umbrella organization for providing foreign aid. Since its inception, the Center has successfully implemented 3,911 projects valued at over US$8.255 billion in 109 countries. These efforts have focused on vital sectors including food security, health, shelter, and education, with particular priority given to countries suffering from acute crises such as Palestine, Yemen, Syria, and Sudan.

The program has performed 67 successful complex surgeries and studied 152 cases from 28 countries across five continents, covering all expenses, thus becoming a model for harnessing science to serve humanity.
