The Saudi Ministry of Defense announced that its armed forces successfully intercepted and destroyed hostile drones that attempted to target the Eastern Province. The Ministry's official spokesperson stated via its official Twitter account (formerly known as "X") that Saudi air defenses efficiently shot down three explosive-laden drones, confirming the complete vigilance and maximum readiness of the armed forces to deal with any aerial threats targeting the security and safety of the Kingdom's territory, its citizens, and residents.
This was not the first such operation. Previously, Saudi air defenses demonstrated their superior capabilities when the Ministry of Defense announced the interception and destruction of 12 drones in the Eastern Province during two separate operations.
