A number of citizens and residents in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia expressed their overwhelming joy at the arrival of Eid al-Adha, affirming to Al-Youm newspaper that this happy occasion coincides with feelings of pride and honor in the historic achievement of the successful Hajj season this year. The citizens noted that the distinctive spiritual atmosphere and the joy that pervades Saudi homes are perfected by seeing the pilgrims performing their rituals with ease and tranquility, thanks to the tremendous organizational and service efforts provided by the government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and His Crown Prince.
Continued Saudi leadership culminates in the success of the Hajj season
Historically, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has consistently dedicated all its material and human resources to serving the Two Holy Mosques and the pilgrims. This leading role is a sacred duty and a great honor undertaken by the Saudi leadership since the era of the founding King Abdulaziz Al Saud – may God have mercy on him – until this day. Every year, the Holy Sites witness tremendous development in infrastructure, the introduction of smart technologies, and the expansion of vital facilities to accommodate millions of pilgrims from all corners of the earth. The meticulous planning and integrated coordination among various security, health, and service sectors represent the cornerstone of this continuous annual excellence.
Regional and international dimensions of organizational achievement in the holy sites
The impact of this organizational excellence extends far beyond the local level, resonating regionally and internationally. The entire Muslim world looks to Mecca and Medina as symbols of unity and solidarity, and this successful organization reflects the Kingdom's exceptional ability to manage large crowds efficiently and safely, further solidifying its leadership position within the Islamic world. Internationally, these efforts have garnered widespread praise from global organizations and countries that view the Saudi model for crisis and crowd management as a unique and exemplary benchmark for logistical, security, and health planning.

Al-Assaf added, "During these blessed days, we all feel pride and honor in the great success achieved during the Hajj season, thanks be to God. The tremendous efforts and exceptional organization reflected the stature of this blessed nation and the keenness of its wise leadership to serve the guests of God in the best possible way." He also noted that Eid represents a joy that is renewed through gatherings with family and relatives and visits that restore warmth and serenity to hearts.
For his part, Ahmed Al-Assaf shared his feelings, saying, "We experienced a beautiful, spiritually uplifting atmosphere filled with joy and tranquility. We performed the Eid prayer, met with family and friends, and exchanged greetings in an atmosphere of warmth and love." Ahmed expressed his deepest pride in the great success achieved thanks to God and the blessed efforts of the wise leadership in serving the pilgrims. He emphasized that the joy of Eid begins with performing the prayer, followed by gathering with family, loved ones, and parents, to strengthen kinship ties and renew love in an atmosphere filled with joy and happiness.
