The National Center for Meteorology in Saudi Arabia revealed details of the maximum temperatures recorded today, Tuesday, across various cities and provinces of the Kingdom. Temperature variations and diverse climate in Saudi Arabia
Figures released by the National Center for Meteorology illustrate the significant temperature differences between the north, south, and west of the Kingdom. While coastal cities like Al-Qunfudhah and Jeddah enjoy warm weather, with Al-Qunfudhah recording the highest maximum temperature at 30 degrees Celsius, followed by Jeddah and Mecca at 29 degrees Celsius, the northern regions are experiencing a noticeable drop in temperatures.
The lowest maximum temperature on the list was recorded in the province of Tarif at only 11 degrees Celsius, followed by Al Qurayyat at 13 degrees Celsius, and Arar at 14 degrees Celsius. This reflects the climatic nature of the northern regions, which are usually affected by cold air masses more quickly than the rest of the Kingdom’s regions, which calls on the residents of those regions to take the necessary precautions and wear winter clothes.
The importance of weather reports
These daily reports are of paramount importance to citizens and residents, as they help in planning daily activities, especially given the weather fluctuations that the Kingdom may experience during the transitional periods between seasons. The National Center for Meteorology plays a vital role in monitoring these changes using the latest technologies to ensure the accuracy of the information provided to the public, thus contributing to enhanced public safety and awareness of weather conditions.
