The center also warned of the possibility of dense fog forming during the early morning and late night hours, which may affect the flow of traffic in parts of the Riyadh, Eastern, Northern Borders, Al-Jawf and Tabuk .

The climate context in the Kingdom and the importance of monitoring

These weather fluctuations are part of the climatic nature of Saudi Arabia, which is characterized by its vast area and diverse topography, ranging from humid coastal regions to cold mountain highlands and arid desert areas. This geographical diversity directly leads to significant temperature variations recorded at the same time, with a difference of up to 16 degrees Celsius observed between Mecca and Al-Baha.

These weather bulletins are of paramount importance both locally and in terms of public services. They serve as a vital guide for farmers in determining irrigation and harvesting times, and they are also essential for the transportation sector, particularly with fog and rain warnings that require drivers to exercise caution on highways connecting the governorates. The National Center of Meteorology urges everyone to follow the daily reports and adhere to public safety instructions during periods of unstable weather.
