The General Authority for Roads in Saudi Arabia has announced the launch of the Hajj 1447 road guide, which aims to facilitate the journey of pilgrims arriving by land from within the Kingdom and abroad. The Kingdom's historic efforts in developing Hajj infrastructure

Since the founding of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the wise leadership has placed serving pilgrims and Umrah performers at the forefront of its strategic priorities. Over the decades, the road infrastructure has witnessed tremendous development, transforming ancient desert tracks into modern, fully illuminated highway networks connecting various regions of the Kingdom to Makkah and Madinah. This historic development has not been limited to paving roads alone, but has also included the construction of advanced bridges and tunnels to traverse challenging mountainous terrain, contributing to a reduction in travel time and an unprecedented increase in traffic safety, making access to the holy sites easier and safer than ever before.

Strategic dimensions of launching the Hajj route guide for the 1447 Hajj season

The launch of the Hajj 1447 route guide of paramount importance and has a significant impact at the local, regional, and international levels.
