The Governor of Riyadh performs Eid al-Fitr prayers at the Imam Turki Mosque
In a spiritually uplifting atmosphere filled with faith and joy, the Governor of Riyadh performed the Eid al-Fitr prayer with a large congregation. His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Riyadh, led the prayer this morning at the Imam Turki bin Abdullah Mosque in the heart of the Saudi capital, Riyadh. This ritual reflects the strong bond between the leadership and the people on this great Islamic occasion, eagerly awaited by Muslims worldwide.
The prayer was led by His Eminence Sheikh Abdullah bin Abdulaziz bin Abdullah Al Sheikh, a faculty member at the Higher Institute for the Judiciary. In his sermon, Sheikh Al-Sheikh also highlighted the blessings of security, safety, and stability enjoyed by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia under the wise leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and His Royal Highness Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Prime Minister – may God protect them both. He prayed to God Almighty to preserve this generous nation, its leadership and its people, and to perpetuate prosperity and well-being for it and all Muslim countries, and to accept everyone's fasting, prayers, and good deeds.

The prayer was performed with His Royal Highness the Prince of Riyadh by a large group of Their Royal Highnesses the Princes, including Prince Khalid bin Musaed bin Abdulrahman, Prince Mohammed bin Mishari bin Abdulaziz, Prince Mutaib bin Thunayyan bin Mohammed, Prince Saud bin Abdullah bin Thunayyan, and Prince Faisal bin Turki bin Abdulaziz, Advisor at the Royal Court, in addition to a large number of princes who were keen to perform this blessed ritual.
Also present at the prayer were His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Abdulaziz bin Ayyaf, Mayor of Riyadh Region; His Excellency Mr. Sulaiman bin Mohammed Al-Qannas, Deputy Governor of Riyadh Region; and Major General Mansour bin Nasser Al-Otaibi, Acting Director of Riyadh Region Police. The prayer was also attended by a diplomatic delegation, including the Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Kingdom, Bandar Mohammed Al-Attiyah, in addition to a number of dignitaries, senior civilian and military officials, and a large congregation of citizens and residents who arrived from the early morning hours to perform the prayer and exchange greetings.
