The Kingdom and 7 other countries join the Gaza Peace Council to end the conflict

In a joint statement, the ministers announced their countries' firm decision to join the Council, affirming that each state would immediately begin signing the accession documents in accordance with its established legal and constitutional procedures. This announcement unites efforts with those of the Arab Republic of Egypt, the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, and the United Arab Emirates, which had previously announced their accession, thus forming a strong, unified diplomatic front.

The tasks and strategic objectives of the Peace Council

The ministers reaffirmed their countries’ full and continued support for the peace efforts led by President Trump. They emphasized their unwavering commitment to supporting the implementation of the Peace Council’s mandate as a pivotal transitional body, as outlined in the comprehensive plan to end the conflict in Gaza. These actions are grounded in international legitimacy, specifically UN Security Council Resolution 2803, which provides the legal framework for these initiatives.

These efforts are primarily aimed at achieving a number of crucial objectives, foremost among them:
