Results of the beauty contest at the King Abdulaziz Falconry Festival 2025

The grounds of the King Abdulaziz Falconry Festival 2025, organized by the Saudi Falcons Club at the club’s headquarters in Mulham (north of Riyadh), witnessed fierce and exciting competitions on Wednesday evening, as the “Beauty” competition, which is one of the most important pillars of this global event, continued. The elite of winning falcons were crowned in two rounds dedicated to specific categories, amidst a large audience and great interest from lovers of this ancient heritage.

Results of the beauty contest rounds and crowning of the champions

The competition got off to a strong start with the first round, dedicated to the "Free from Free Gyrfalcon" category for local falconers. The results saw falconer Mohammed Ibrahim Al-Buainain crowned champions of the King Abdulaziz Cup after securing first place. In a fierce competition for the top spots, Abdullah Ibrahim Al-Buainain finished second, while Abdullah Rashid Al-Marri took third place. Ghanem Madath Al-Dosari came in fourth, and Abdullah Ghanem Al-Dosari rounded out the top five.

In the second round, dedicated to the "Black/Dark Falcon" category, falconer Ghanem Madath Al-Dossari secured first place and won the King Abdulaziz Cup, adding another achievement to his record. Sultan Al-Duwaikh came in second, followed by Salem Madath Al-Dossari in third, Salman Al Abdulghani in fourth, and Bader Hamad Al-Dossari in fifth.

Million-dollar prizes reflect the importance of the event

The festival awards substantial cash prizes to the winners of the beauty contest, reflecting the great value of these birds and the effort invested in their care. The first-place winner in each round receives 300,000 riyals, the second-place winner receives 175,000 riyals, the third-place winner receives 100,000 riyals, the fourth-place winner receives 30,000 riyals, and the fifth-place winner receives 20,000 riyals.

The total prizes for the King Abdulaziz Falconry Festival 2025 in the Al-Malwah and Al-Mazayin competitions amount to more than 38 million riyals, a figure that enhances the festival’s status as the largest gathering of falcons in the world, and contributes to motivating falconers to continue and develop this hobby.
