In his cable, the King said: “We have learned of the severe weather conditions affecting the Sultanate of Oman (Depression Al-Masarrat), and the resulting deaths, injuries, and missing persons. We pray to Almighty God to grant His mercy and forgiveness to the deceased, to grant their families patience and solace, to grant the injured a speedy recovery, to return the missing to their families safe and sound, and to protect you and the people of the Sultanate of Oman from all harm and misfortune.
