The Minister of Interior inspects the Hajj reception system at Jeddah Airport
His Royal Highness Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Interior and Chairman of the Supreme Hajj Committee, inspected the operations of the Hajj reception system at the Hajj and Umrah Terminal Complex at King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah. This inspection visit is part of His Highness's ongoing field tours to monitor the implementation of Hajj season plans and ensure the provision of the highest quality services to pilgrims from the moment they arrive in the Kingdom.

During his tour, His Highness the Minister of Interior was briefed on the details of the procedures for receiving pilgrims, reviewing the mechanisms for completing passport procedures via modern digital platforms. These technologies have contributed to reducing the time required to complete procedures to a record period, thus alleviating the burden on pilgrims after their long journeys. His Highness also ensured the operational readiness of the security, regulatory, and health agencies working at the airport, praising their role in providing logistical services, baggage handling, and managing and facilitating the smooth movement of pilgrims within the terminals.
The Haramain High-Speed Railway and facilitating transportation
Following his inspection of the airport, the Minister of Interior boarded the Haramain High-Speed Railway bound for Mecca, where he reviewed the operational plans for transporting pilgrims. This vital project aims to enhance the efficiency and safety of travel for pilgrims between the holy cities, representing a qualitative leap in the pilgrim experience and ensuring their easy and convenient arrival at their accommodations.

His Royal Highness the Minister of Interior was accompanied on this inspection tour by a number of senior officials, reflecting the high level of integration and coordination among the various state agencies.
