The Sultan of Oman awards the Commander of the Saudi Air Force the Omani Military Medal

In a move reflecting the deep fraternal ties and strategic strength that bind the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Sultanate of Oman, His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq, Sultan of Oman, bestowed the Order of Oman Military, Second Class, upon His Royal Highness Lieutenant General Turki bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Commander of the Royal Saudi Air Force. This prestigious honor recognizes His Highness's tireless efforts and significant contributions to strengthening the existing military cooperation between the two brotherly nations.

Honoring ceremony and official talks

The medal presentation ceremony took place in the presence of high-ranking officials, with His Highness Sayyid Shihab bin Tariq Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Defense Affairs of the Sultanate of Oman, presenting the medal to His Highness the Commander of the Royal Saudi Air Force. Also in attendance were Air Vice Marshal Khamis Al Ghafri, Commander of the Royal Air Force of Oman, and Ibrahim bin Saad bin Bishan, Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to Muscat, in addition to the military delegation accompanying His Highness.

On the sidelines of the visit, Lieutenant General Turki bin Bandar held an important meeting with the Minister of the Royal Office, Lieutenant General Sultan bin Mohammed Al Nu’mani, during which a number of topics of common interest were discussed, which contribute to enhancing security and stability in the region.
