King Salman clinics continue providing medical services in Saada to 172 beneficiaries

The mobile medical clinic of the King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Aid continued to provide its vital treatment services to beneficiaries in the Razih district of Saada Governorate, Yemen, as part of the ongoing efforts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to support the health sector in Yemen and alleviate the suffering of citizens in the affected areas.
According to official statistics for the period from December 10 to 16, 2025, the clinics received 172 patients with a variety of medical conditions and treatment needs. These patients were distributed across different specialized departments: 56 patients visited the infectious disease clinic, 26 cases requiring urgent medical intervention were treated in the emergency clinic, 63 patients received necessary care in the internal medicine clinic, and 9 patients benefited from the reproductive health clinic's services.
Support services and health awareness
The medical team's efforts extended beyond examination and diagnosis to include comprehensive support services. The nursing clinic saw 74 patients, while two patients benefited from the services of the surgery and dressing clinic. In keeping with the commitment to providing free treatment, medications were dispensed to 147 patients according to approved prescriptions. The center also placed special emphasis on preventative care, with the awareness and education department implementing programs that benefited 18 individuals, in addition to carrying out two activities dedicated to the safe disposal of medical waste to ensure the safety of the surrounding environment.
The context of Saudi humanitarian support for Yemen
These services are part of a broader series of humanitarian projects implemented by the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center in Yemen, which prioritizes the health sector due to the significant challenges it faces as a result of the ongoing crisis. Mobile clinics are one of the effective strategies the center employs to reach remote areas and border districts such as Razih in Saada, where these areas often lack stable and well-equipped healthcare infrastructure, making these clinics a lifeline for local residents.
Developmental and humanitarian impact
The continued operation of these clinics reflects the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's unwavering commitment to supporting the brotherly Yemeni people in all governorates without exception. These direct medical interventions contribute to curbing the spread of epidemics and infectious diseases, and provide primary care that prevents minor illnesses from escalating into critical conditions. This support also represents a fundamental pillar in maintaining public health in the most vulnerable communities, embodying the Kingdom's leading role in regional and international humanitarian work, and its ongoing pursuit of health security as an integral part of comprehensive stability in the region.
