The regional center specializing in monitoring weather phenomena announced the detection of 52 instances of dust and sandstorm in several countries of the region, according to its daily report issued on April 28, 2026. Official statistics indicated that Saudi Arabia topped the list with 41 incidents, followed by Jordan with 5. Two incidents were recorded in each of Kuwait, Iran, and Egypt, while no significant incidents were reported in the remaining countries of the region during this period.
