Official statistics revealed that the total number of services provided by the complex to its beneficiaries during 2025 exceeded 1.2 million. These services encompassed a wide range of care, including curative, rehabilitative, and preventative services, in addition to awareness programs targeting all segments of society.

The evolution and transformation of mental health care

The Erada Complex has a long history of providing mental health care and addiction treatment in the Kingdom. Formerly known as Al Amal Hospital, it has since rebranded and expanded its services to encompass comprehensive mental health care under the name 'Erada'. This development aligns with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030, specifically the Health Sector Transformation Program, which aims to facilitate access to healthcare services, improve their quality and efficiency, and enhance preventative measures against health risks. The complex's recent relocation to its new, state-of-the-art premises at Exit 18 represents a significant leap forward in its medical infrastructure, enabling it to accommodate a larger number of patients and provide a sophisticated healthcare environment that meets international standards.

Details of the therapeutic and medical services provided

In a sensitive and critical area, 2,086 services were provided through the forensic psychiatry department. To ensure patients' physical well-being, the complex provided 573,285 services as part of its therapeutic nutrition program. Regarding medical rehabilitation, Dr. Al-Ahmari stated that the department provided 33,386 services, in addition to caring for 210 patients within aftercare programs designed to prevent relapse and facilitate safe reintegration into society.

The regional and local impact of the efforts of the Erada Complex in Riyadh

Locally, the complex effectively contributes to reducing the social stigma associated with mental illness and addiction by integrating treatment with community awareness programs. Regionally, the complex has become a model for the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries and the Middle East in implementing the latest treatment protocols and sustainable rehabilitation programs, further solidifying the Kingdom's position as a leader in specialized healthcare.
