The Minister of Interior is monitoring preparations for the movement of pilgrims to Arafat
His Royal Highness Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Interior and Chairman of the Supreme Hajj Committee, reviewed the mechanisms for monitoring the implementation of security and traffic plans, and the progress of preparations for the movement of pilgrims to Arafat. His Highness also conducted a field visit to the Hajj Security Command and Control Center at the Public Security headquarters in Mina to ensure the integration of all efforts to serve the pilgrims.

During his tour, His Royal Highness the Minister of Interior was briefed on the field monitoring of the pilgrim movement plans and the mechanisms for real-time coordination between various security and service sectors to ensure the smooth flow of crowds along the routes leading to the holy sites. He also reviewed the mechanisms for monitoring the implementation of the plans, the technological system for the plans and operations, and the interactive map, in addition to receiving a detailed explanation of the business intelligence systems used for inquiries and operations.
This is in addition to the comprehensive systems for handling cases and violations, managing reports, and indicators for tracking the arrival of pilgrims. His Highness also reviewed the business intelligence system for managing Hajj risks, and inspected the indicators room and the television monitoring hall, reviewing a suite of advanced digital systems and artificial intelligence applications developed to enhance response speed and manage crowds with high accuracy in Makkah and the Holy Sites, in addition to the reports escalation platform supported by business intelligence systems.

He affirmed that the Kingdom's pioneering excellence in crowd management stems from the directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince, Prime Minister – may God protect them – to dedicate all material, human, and technological resources to ensure that pilgrims perform their rituals in an atmosphere of security and tranquility.
