This initiative brings together a distinguished group of ten artists and calligraphers from the Kingdom and around the world, aiming to integrate the authenticity of Arabic calligraphy with contemporary visual arts techniques, reflecting the Kingdom's growing cultural dynamism.

Reviving heritage with a modern vision

This prestigious event is part of the Ministry of Culture's ongoing efforts to revitalize Jeddah's historic district, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The significance of this event extends beyond its artistic merit, enhancing the city's standing as a global tourist and cultural destination and contributing effectively to the national strategic objectives of Vision 2030, which places particular emphasis on Islamic and Arabic arts.

"Open Art Studio" activities at Al-Falah Schools

The Dar Al Qalam Cultural Center opened its doors to visitors and those interested in visiting the "Open Studio" in the historic Al Falah Schools building from January 8th to 12th. The comprehensive eight-week arts program featured a rich mix of activities, including:

  • Advanced and practical workshops.
